Innovation Works

This EDA award, coupled with other resources available, will enable Innovation Works and Carnegie Melon University to deepen, strengthen, and cross-pollinate networks of mentors, corporate partners, investors, and supply chain partners for more scalable delivery of entrepreneurial services to startups. Both organizations have been very successful in helping entrepreneurs build businesses that flourish, but demand for these services now exceeds capacity. This project—Scaling Networks in Southwestern Pennsylvania (SNSP) — will enable these organizations to deliver more technical and commercial expertise. This new initiative will scale entrepreneurial support services to benefit all populations, especially women, people of color, and those living in rural communities.
