The San Joaquin Valley Investment Fund (SJVIF) fills the void of seed, startup and early-stage capital available to entrepreneurs and drives the participation of regional investors into investing into the fund. SJVIF will target companies led by women and minority founders whose businesses employ residents of the San Joaquin Valley. SJVIF will expand access to entrepreneurship to woman and underrepresented founders who face access barriers due to language or cultural differences, have limited resources, or are otherwise underserved. The mission of the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation is “to promote education and self-sufficiency through economic development that strengthens our community” and the mission of SJVIF is to “lift up, encourage and empower people in need and who are less fortunate through investments that change lives.”
