Applicant Resources

This page has resources to assist prospective applicants with navigating the requirements of our grantmaking programs and systems associated with them.

USEFUL TIPS

Review these tutorials from staff on the SF-424, SF-424A, and the Budget Narrative--common requirements for most of EDA’s competitive award programs.

Access the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) via Grants.gov: OIE is proud to administer several nationally-competitive award programs on behalf of the EDA and only accepts funding applications through Grants.gov. New applicants and those unfamiliar with federal grantmaking requirements are encouraged to complete the steps outlined in the following “Pre-Applications Actions” well in advance of the deadline in order to ensure successful submission.

Read the NOFO completely to understand the technical requirements, funding/applicant eligibility, and the evaluation criteria associated with each program. EDA Staff is prohibited from providing strategic or similar advice that would provide an unfair advantage to applicants. If you still have technical questions after reviewing the NOFO and any applicable resources on the OIE website, you can contact us.
