This EDA investment will support a strategic partnership between the grantee, Regional Accelerator & Innovation Network (RAIN), and a Pacific Northwest fund (to be selected). RAIN has nearly a decade of experience connecting entrepreneurs and innovators to key resources. This project will promote inclusive innovation economies through community-based events, educational workshops, and a collaborative network of partners and stakeholders with the shared goal of preparing the region’s technology startups for funding.
RAIN will select a fund manager to make capital investments in pre-seed and seed-stage, capital-efficient technology startups in the Pacific Northwest that have high-growth potential. Together, RAIN and their fund partner will leverage each other’s expertise to supercharge growth of the Pacific Northwest entrepreneurial ecosystem by elevating and investing in diverse, scalable technology startups.
