The VelocityTX Innovation Center (VTX) will connect early-stage bio and health tech companies to San Antonio’s mature bioscience ecosystem, supporting and developing these ventures through incubator and accelerator programs, and providing access to investors and funding opportunities. This methodical growth approach integrates the resources of VTX’s existing partnerships with industry, higher education, and the military to foster ecosystem development, accelerate the commercialization of bioscience innovations, and drive economic growth. Over the period of performance, VTX intends to scale its programs and expand organizational reach and impact. This includes bringing five new cohorts to commercialization through the BioGlobal Accelerator (38 companies) and achieving maximum capacity (20 companies) in the VTX Incubator.
