Starting April 6, 2023, EDGE is Required for EDA’s PWEAA Grants.

Currently Open to PWEAA, the EDGE Portal is accepting applications forPWEAA Construction and Non-Construction, Research and National Technical Assistance, Short-term Planning,and Local Technical Assistance.

Specific instructions on how to apply to each EDA grant continue to be published via https://www.grants.gov

How To Use the EDGE Portal

  • Self-Register for an EDGE Portal Account at: https://sfgrants.eda.gov
    • Select Login
    • Select 'I Accept' to accept the System Use Agreement
    • Select 'Not a Member?' and follow the prompts
  • Submit grant applications in the EDGE Portal for PWEAA Construction, Non-Construction, Research and National Technical Assistance, Short-term Planning and Local Technical Assistance
    • Locate the desired Funding Opportunity and select 'Apply Now’ and fill-out / upload the details
    • Follow the prompts to respond to Curing Requests when necessary
      Note: During this time, continue to use Grants.gov/GOL to apply for Partnership Planning grants
  • Attend EDGE Portal Training Events
    • Virtual and live trainings will be scheduled and registration information distributed
  • Access our EDGE Portal Knowledge Base
    • Select the Resources Tab to access our full suite of Training Tutorial Videos and Quick Reference Guides available on-demand 24x7

Once logged into the system, whenever you need assistance or if you would like to submit an enhancement request, click Support and fill out the Support Inquiry form. Include the form number, section name, field name, links to the record under discussion, screen shots, etc. Adding these details to your Support Inquiry form will speed the time to resolution.
