36 Degrees North, the largest entrepreneurial support organization in the Tulsa, Oklahoma, region, will launch and operate a new 50,000-square-foot high-tech business incubator and accelerator space in the One Technology Center building in downtown Tulsa. The city of Tulsa is providing $1.25 million in incentive funding (tenant improvements) for renovation of the incubator space. The new incubator will provide access to curated mentoring services, seed and early-stage investment sources, flexible office and meeting space, and an extensive network of local and national resources, all of which will help facilitate new business formation, job growth, increased tax revenue, and long-term economic diversification for the Tulsa region.

Key collaborators include the city of Tulsa, i2E, Oklahoma State University, Tulsa Tech, and a myriad of partners including investors, economic development, marketing, design, and business consultants. The new incubator will:

  1. Increase access to business experts, mentors, and investors for the development of new tech startups.
  2. Launch new targeted marketing initiatives to increase awareness throughout the Tulsa region and across Oklahoma.
  3. Develop new levels of customized business incubation programming to meet the unique, unmet needs of tech entrepreneurs in the region.
  4. Create new revenue streams for improved financial sustainability of operations.
  5. Procure new equipment and educational tools to extend the capability of 36°N as a key resource for the economic growth of Oklahoma startup companies.
