The ReGen Valley Tech Hub, led by the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI), aims to make New Hampshire a global leader in biofabrication to produce cost-effective regenerative therapies that address chronic disease and organ failure. Amidst growing commercial demand for these therapies and building on its EDA Build Back Better Regional Challenge award, this Tech Hub seeks to advance biofabrication-related therapies, invest in manufacturing facilities, and incubate technology startups to secure domestic regenerative therapy development and biofabrication.

The ReGen Valley Tech Hub seeks to advance the solutions to chronic illnesses through the field of biofabrication and curative regenerative medicine therapies.

This consortium’s proposal includes plans to:

  • Build a diverse and connected network of entrepreneurs and local businesses;
  • Create a multi-institution Common Campus model to meet biofabrication workforce needs through retaining, developing, and attracting talent;
  • Understand clinician and public knowledge of regenerative therapies to inform training and engagements and to increase awareness and adoption;
  • Scale an apprenticeship training program to fill workforce gaps, and provide earmarked childcare spaces for the biofabrication industry’s workforce;
  • Manage transportation needs and opportunities in ReGen Valley; and
  • Drive consortium-wide engagement through training, policy adoption, and dispute resolution while also collecting and ensuring metrics, outcomes, and broader impacts are equitably distributed and efforts are driving inclusive growth.

To ensure that the impacts of the Tech Hub project benefit the entire region, the consortium is committed to engaging underrepresented community voices in governance, including labor unions, workers, and minority-owned business and entrepreneurs. Additionally, ReGen Valley Tech Hub will focus on health equity and strive for equity in clinical trials, therapy distribution, and access.
