SP3NW develops and delivers scalable strategies in regional innovation which, beyond technical assistance, provides additional value to members through ongoing coaching, connections to mentors, interns, and funding sources, design and engineering roundtables, as well as educational and networking events. The shift to a virtual economy offers an opportunity to embed virtual offerings which extend access to programs and services to regionally based ventures in rural communities and tribal lands. Accessing technical assistance and membership services creates opportunity for connection with other resources within the university such as the I-Corps program, Service Center Cores such as the Biomedical Engineering and Design Lab for prototyping services, and industry-specific expertise in areas like food sciences.
