EDA announced 4 grants in the month of February, totaling $2,424,675 which is matched by $182,000 private investment. These investments include the following:

  • $1,827,000 for the North Dover Wastewater Improvements. This EDA Public Works and Economic Development Facilities award to the City of Dover will help the City construct critical water and wastewater infrastructure to serve the City’s key business district.
  • $282,675 for the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation. This EDA investment will examine the growth and feasibility of a potential On-farm AgTech Accelerator Smart Farm at the University of Arizona Yuma Agricultural Center facilities.
  • $90,000 for the TwispsWorks Foundation Disaster Readiness 2025. This EDA investment supports a Comprehensive Economic Study that will identify key economic trends, growth sectors, disaster threats, and workforce gaps.
  • $225,000 for the Partnership Planning Program. This EDA planning investment supports the development and implementation of a Comprehensive Economic Development strategy (CEDS).
