Raimondo announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $3 million grant to the Economic Development Authority of Amherst County, Virginia, to provide operational space to technology-based industries. This EDA project, to be matched with $1.3 million in local funds, is expected to create 45 jobs, retain 24 jobs, and generate $3.25 million in private investment.

Raimondo announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $1.2 million CARES Act Recovery Assistance grant to Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to support the post-pandemic recovery of Pennsylvania’s small businesses through the PA Digital Transformation and E-commerce Program. This EDA grant, to be matched with $300,000 in local funds, is expected to retain 2,000 jobs.

Raimondo announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $1.5 million CARES Act Recovery Assistance grant to the city of Anthony, New Mexico, to support construction of an Urgent Care medical facility. This EDA grant, to be matched with $375,000 in local funds, is expected to create 35 jobs.

This EDA grant, to be matched with $902,500 in local investment, is expected to create 130 jobs and generate $550 million in private investment.

This EDA grant, to be matched with $263,212 in state and local funds, is expected to create 156 jobs and retain 264 jobs.

Raimondo announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $1.3 million CARES Act Recovery Assistance grant to the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Millheim, Pennsylvania, to help establish a singular database and e-commerce marketplace to comprehensively connect and stabilize the regional foodshed supply chain. This EDA grant will be matched with $319,418 in state and local funds.
