U.S. Department of Commerce Invests $3.9 Million in American Rescue Plan Funds for Roadway Construction to Support Future Development on Yavapai-Prescott Reservation

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $3.9 million grant to the Yavapai-Prescott Tribe, Prescott, Arizona, to make roadway infrastructure improvements needed to support business growth in a region impacted by the declining us of coal. This grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan and EDA’s $300 million Coal Communities Commitment.
