WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $4.5 million CARES Act Recovery Assistance grant to the Port of Lewiston, Lewiston, Idaho, to expand internet connectivity for commerce, public health and safety and learning in North Central Idaho.

Raimondo announced that the Department’s Economic Development Administration (EDA) is awarding a $2.1 million CARES Act recovery assistance grant to Dougherty County, Georgia, to construct a six-mile pedestrian path connecting the downtown area with a local attraction, Radium Springs.
