Collaborating with the Small Business Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in WCU’s College of Business, the Rapid Center assists individuals and companies whose combined successes will improve the economic strength of the state, the region and the Southeast. Funds WCU's University Center to facilitate the commercialization of new products or services that retain current jobs and/or add new jobs for existing businesses, as well as create new jobs in emerging entrepreneurial ventures. The Center provides assistance to inventors and businesses through a two-phase commercialization process.
