This grant will allow the research group at the University to design, build and test prototype systems to power devices, such as those used to gather field data and will ultimately help bring devices that use renewable energy technologies closer to commercialization and help fuel economic growth in the state. This University Center focuses on supporting regional commercialization, developing a high-skilled regional workforce, advancing high-growth entrepreneurship, cultivating innovation, and promoting business expansion efforts in environmentally sustainable energy and precision agriculture technologies in South Dakota.
