Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) will create the Virtual Reality STEM Workforce Program to provide virtual reality-based career exploration and training with a goal of establishing a skilled workforce prepared to tackle the economy of tomorrow. Through the program, trainees will learn skills necessary to enter critical job sectors, primarily related to semiconductor manufacturing and the aerospace industry. CPLC’s objective is to provide these rapidly growing employment sectors with a skilled workforce, while providing entry-level opportunities with ample room for career advancement in vital STEM industries.
