This EDA University Center expands the Industry 4.0 Center of Excellence at Metropolitan State University of Denver by leveraging emerging technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), metal additive manufacturing (AM), and machine learning (ML), to increase the quality, address predictive maintenance, waste reduction, productivity, and sustainability to address manufacturing challenges facing the Colorado region. The center’s comprehensive approach encompasses research and development, technology implementation, and workforce upskilling, positioning the manufacturing sector for long-term competitiveness in the global market. By harnessing cutting-edge technologies, the University Center at MSU Denver will strive to empower the manufacturing industry, boost economic growth, and foster sustainable development. This project builds on the Industry 4.0 Center of Excellence at Auraria program funded in 2022 by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) under the Advanced Industries Collaborative Infrastructure grant.
