The Nevada University Center for Economic Development (UCED) will focus on advanced regional commercialization efforts, advancing high-growth entrepreneurship, cultivating innovation, encouraging business expansion in identified regional innovation clusters, and on increasing the overall resiliency of Nevada’s statewide economy and the local and regional economic base of individual communities and economic regions throughout the state of Nevada. These efforts will be pursued in partnership between the Nevada UCED and its various local, regional, and state agency partners including the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development and each of the eight existing Regional Development Authorities (RDA).  Individual initiatives will seek to make significant gains in the following investment priority areas: (1) equity, (2) recovery and resiliency, (3) workforce development, and (4) environmental-sustainability development
