GPRA & Post-Closeout Reporting

  • Federal regulations and compliance require that certain reports be submitted during the useful life of the project.
  • The appropriate EDA staff will notify Recipients in writing of the reporting requirements and current instructions within a reasonable period of time (typically 45 days) prior to the submission of reports.
  • The Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA) requires Federal Agencies to develop performance goals and measures, and to monitor and report on its program performance. To obtain this performance data, EDA requires, as part of the Specific Award Conditions, that investment-related information be reported 3-years, 6-years, and 9-years after the grant award date.
