Coursera is an online education platform that partners with educational institutions to offer online training for free. Prior to joining Coursera, Lila Ibrahim led the start-up business of Intel’s Emerging Market Product Group. She was responsible for the ethnographic research, engineering development and marketing of products focused on global education. Ms. Ibrahim led the Digital Village Initiative to deliver technology projects which advanced entrepreneurship, health, education, and e-governance from the Amazon to Africa. Over the past decade, she has established and sustained three computer labs at the orphanage. She sits on the Global Council of the Thunderbird School of Global Management and is on the Board of Directors for Cinequest.
