As Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Emily Reichert upholds Greentown Labs’ mission and sets the organization’s broader strategic vision, focusing on initiatives that increase its impact on clean and energy-efficient technology commercialization and deployment. She is responsible for capitalizing on that vision to direct the organization’s efforts to engage new corporate and foundation partners, and to expand education and recognition programs for clean technology entrepreneurs. Prior to Greentown Labs, Dr. Reichert was the Director of Business Operations at the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry, where she was instrumental in growing the company from an angel-funded startup to a sustainable contract R&D business with a mission to minimize environmental impact of chemical processes and products. She has over fifteen years of experience serving in R&D, business development and operations leadership roles, acquiring and applying skills in non-dilutive fundraising, marketing, alliance and team building, strategic planning, and intellectual property strategy.
