The University of Montana’s EDA-supported University Center, to be named the University of Montana Center for Rural Economic Development (“UMCRED”), will focus on advancing high-growth entrepreneurship. Specifically, it will broaden the reach of UM’s Accelerate Montana program to distressed rural and tribal communities in order to facilitate development of sustainable high growth entrepreneurial ecosystems. The University of Montana (UM) provides a portfolio of services, under the title of Accelerate Montana, that support entrepreneurs with venture creation and businesses growth.
