The Research Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Hub (REACH) will establish, strengthen, and connect technology proof of concept and commercialization programs, facilities and networks within the Tallahassee region. The project will create new technology commercialization opportunities, provide entrepreneurship training and support, expand commercialization services and incubation facilities and create new opportunities in underserved rural and urban communities in the region. By aligning resources and strengthening capabilities to move discoveries and inventions into successful startups, REACH estimates that within six years, they would have supported the launch of 42 new firms, generated 225 jobs and leveraged $1.5 million in private investments.
